How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”  Isaiah 52:7

                        Lucinda Havart-Simkin, Office Manager

Lucinda was born in the UK and had an amazing career in the hospitality industry before she and her husband Peter moved to the US.

In May 2012 Lucinda joined the Villages Community Chapel as Office Manager, preparing the Sunday worship bulletin, facilitating events, negotiating with vendors, organizing volunteer staff to support office and executing various tasks associated with the Sunday service. She also prepare the annual reports, accounting reports and monthly financial reports to the Board.

Shortly after joining, the Chapel wanted to have a Stephen Ministry so Lucinda trained with the Stephen Ministry in Texas to open the Chapel’s own Stephen Ministry with two other Chapel members, ultimately training over thirty Lay Ministers over the next three years.  Lucinda is an amazing asset to our Chapel and a glorious gift to our members!
