James 4:7 – Be patient then, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop; and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains.
James 4:8 – You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.
Philippians 4:1 – Stand firm in the Lord, dear friends.
I Thessalonians 3:8 – Now we really live if you stand firm in the Lord.
2 Thessalonians 2:15 – Stand firm, hold on to the teaching.
James 4:10 – Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
James 4:11 – As you know, we count as blessed, those who have persevered. You have heard of Jobs perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
Job 13:14 – Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.
Job 19:25 – I know that my Redeemer lives and that in the end He will stand upon the earth and after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God.
Lamentations 3:22,23 – Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
