Preparation for Transformation – Studio Version

Romans 12: 1-5 (ESV)

1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

3 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.

4  For as in one body we have many members,[e] and the members do not all have the same function,

5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Applications:

Dedication and willingness to sacrifice is the first requirement in pleasing the Lord.
Make time to take time for the things that have eternal value.
Living in the Light with eternity in view.

Having Confidence In The Truth – Part 2, Studio Version

Romans 8:32-39 (ESV)

32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?

33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

36 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,

39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

 Applications:

You are of great importance to God and He has proven it by His eternal Gift.
Our victory over all of our foes is assured because of Christ death, burial and resurrection.
Living in the Light with eternity in view

Having Confidence In The Truth

Romans 8:28-31 (NKJV)

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Applications:

We are never without support, during our greatest challenges in life.

Our support doesn’t come from human endeavor but from the will of the Holy Spirit.

A New Start

II Corinthians 5:17-21 (ESV)

17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.

20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Applications:

Share your relationship about Christ as if your life depended upon it.

Each day Ask God to give you a word and opportunities to share it with someone.

Sold Out – Part 4

Philippians 3:17-21 (ESV)

17 Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us.

18 For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ.

19 Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.

20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

21 who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

Applications:

In life use good examples as you walk humbly with the Lord, such as the Apostle Paul and other Holy Spirit filled believers.

With eternity in view, always be mindful that we are children of God and Citizens of Heaven.

To be ‘Sold Out’ is to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior as you fulfill your calling.
